ARVO is the 1st world conference that offers several thousands of different studies in which all aspects of eye diseases have been investigated and this leads to the development of absolutely new methods of treatment. More than 20 thousand of specialists were present at the congress; more than 2 hundred of companies exhibited their opthalmologic equipment.

The 2nd report “Agreement among Transpalpebral, Transcleral and Tactile Intraocular Pressure Measurements in Eyes with Type 1 Boston Keratoprosthesis” made by the leading scientists of University of Illinois at Chicago, Chicago, IL, has proved that diaton-tonometry can be applied with the patients after keratoprostheses.
